FAQ - Uber and any other rideshare or rental car services that do not have an operating agreement with Gunnison County are not permitted to pick up or drop off passengers or provide rental car services at the Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport.

All Ground Transportation companies wishing to do business at the airport must have an “Off-Airport” operating agreement with the County, which is standard procedure at commercial airports across the country.

Uber has chosen not to sign the required operating agreement with Gunnison County.

The airport’s current rental car companies and ground transportation partners all meet these requirements and are authorized to serve airport passengers and do business at the airport.

If you’re traveling to or from the airport, please plan by arranging transportation with one of the approved providers or by using a hotel or private shuttle service.
