RTA Free Bus Overview

The RTA Free Bus runs a continuous loop through the City of Gunnison, then travels north on Highway 135 to Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte.

Buses depart from each stop no earlier than the times listed in the schedule below. Please note that delays may occur due to weather, driver availability, or mechanical issues.

Important Notes

  • ❌ The RTA Free Bus does not serve the Gunnison–Crested Butte Regional Airport
  • Buses have very limited baggage capacity
