Bustang Outrider Bus Service to Denver and Pueblo

Bustang is a service administered by the Colorado Department of Transportation and the Gunnison to Denver route is operated by Alpine Express.  The Gunnison Valley RTA has no active role in the service beyond information sharing. Click here for the Bustang website.

Crested Butte – Denver Bus Service

The bus picks up & drops off seven days a week at the Crested Butte 4-Way Stop and in Gunnison at the Econolodge located at 411 E. Tomichi Avenue.

Ticket and Schedule Information:

• Mobile tickets are available on the Bustang Mobile App. Tickets may also be purchased on the bus with exact change. 
• The fare to Denver is $45.00 from Crested Butte and $40.00 from Gunnison. A list of fares to/from other destinations along the way is available here.

Pueblo Bus Service

To travel between Crested Butte / Gunnison and Pueblo, you can transfer in Salida to/from the Bustang Outrider bus going between Alamosa and Pueblo.   The two buses meet in Salida going both directions.
